Travel on Pag

Entrance on island Pag can be made on northern or southern part of the island. On the south, there is a bridge connecting island to the land but in winter months this bridge is often closed due the strong winds that blows in that parts.
On the northern side, you can enter the island via ferry line that connect village Žigljen on the island and village Prizna on the land. In case in stronger winds, that line starts sailing on relation Prizna-Stara Novalja witch make it little longer but the harbor there is much more safer.

Once you get on the island, it is very easy to travel on Pag. There is main island road that connects northern and southern part of the island and there are few short smaller roads that connects main road with away settlements.

If you coming to our accommodation, we suggest entering the island over the bridge, especially if you coming from southern or even north-eastern part of Croatia. Distance can be little bigger but, since there is no ferry, trip can be shorter and cheaper in the end.

No mater how did you get on the island, to get to Povljana you must follow the main island road to the village Gorica. This village is 7 km south from the city Pag and 12 km north from the bridge. In Gorica, you follow the sign and make a turn on a road to Povljana. You follow that road for another 7 km and you get in Povljana.

When you enter the village, take the first possible turn right, follow that road to the end (about 500 m, it has 90 degrees left curve near the end), take another right turn and then turn into a fifth street to the left (Ulica kralja Zvonimira/Street of king Zvonimir).
